A few weeks ago I took home a small plastic bag with textiles to sell at kilo price at the recycling center. Found various empty medicine or vitamine pots on the bottom. Good for the plastic recycling. Plus one full pot of vitamine/energy pills, not expired, that I'm using up. I don't really believe in it, but it looked trustworthy so a least it won't harm.
The boxes seem old and were dusty and I just wiped them off lightly. Since not selling on the markets anymore these went to thrift shop today and I didn't care to do more work. Powders don't decay and I'm sure priced at €1 each they'll be gone soon.
Today I made a very nice sale on a piece of electrical equipment that I picked up yesterday. But as I still have to ship it and wait for customer satisfaction I'll show it later on.

I love thrift stores! I am 68 years old and live in Montreal, Canada, and think recycling is a great thing, so I do a lot of clothes shopping at these stores. Of course I wash anything I purchase before I use or wear it. I think these stores are wonderful. They save many items that may otherwise end up in the landfill, they help people who purchase items in these stores to save money and to give new life to a product and they give jobs to people who work in them. It is a win win situation, in my view. I am fascinated and happy with what you are doing. I take public transit. I think it is good to have a vehicle to do what you are doing, but many people who do have a vehicle don't bother or care, so I applaud you for your efforts and success.
Great to hear that you love thrifting. All thrift shops are good, ours in Amsterdam is special! I work one afternoon a week as a volunteer for the shop. Plus I manage their Facebook page. I get a little financial reward for that. Just pocketmoney. I started ten years ago when I was jobless from one day to the other. I loved it so much I wanted to stay no matter how after I found work again. To many volunteers, whether jobless, retired, or otherwise not fit for a normal job the work gives meaning to their lives or at least a reason to get up and go out. Because on top of helping the environment the shop's revenue completely goes to social projects in the neighbourhood, but the shop itself is a social project of a kind as it's a local meeting center and as said helps the workers but also we offer just that little bit more to customers then cheap products.
